Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Artist's Description

We walked in the neighborhood of nine miles a day, and we finished the last day with twelve miles. These were not strolls through the village of Rome stopping to smell the poppies or bougainvillea. We had places to get to, Latin to read at those places, and a few touristy things to see here and there. We started the day at the Roman Forum, left the Forum for lunch at Made in Sud in a neighborhood, returned to visit the Palatine Hill, read Latin in the shade inside the short walls of an ancient house, and visited with St. Paul & St. Peter at the Mamertine Prison. Demands were made for espresso & gelato before we walked over near the Colosseum to read more Latin in the late afternoon under the looming height of the Colosseum in one direction, and Arch of Constantine in the other. After Latin was finished sitting on big stones under a short wall we walked on past the Colosseum like it was a MacDonalds. It could never be ordinary but on that day it was just there. We did take some time to...

About Joseph Yarbrough

Joseph Yarbrough

My subjects are both natural and architectural. I am interested in textures and shapes and how light and shadow play on those objects often creating new ones. I use a Nikon D-800, and an iPhone 10s Max. I make every effort to compose in the camera and thus I crop infrequently. I use Lightroom, Photoshop & NIK to work with highlights & shadows which often brings out the elements in a photograph for which I have primary interest. I have no hesitation using any other tool if the results make the photograph work. My preference is to do nothing to a photograph presenting it as it was taken. My web site is named light & shadows because both light and shadows are the visual elements that hold the most fascination for me. If time and space...
