Description
I was more interest in the brick arches in the alley near the Case. They were lovely and repetitive. The most interesting thing of all was the wedding party waiting for photographs while we waited to move on. It was June in Rome. There were many weddings. "A 4th-century basilica was erected on the site of one of the most well-preserved "house churches" of early Christianity (dating from the 1st, 2nd or 3rd century), with intact fresco decoration.[27] The houses are part of a museum currently, but the basilica still functions as a church." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oldest_church_buildings
