Description
It has been centuries so the really priceless or just beautiful pieces have long made their way into museums & private collections far & wide. I loved the National Museum of Rome as we were able to walk through many exhibits in some leisure and undisturbed. Included is a very rough traslation of the museum sign for this work using my ace high school Spanish translation skills - vis-a-vis in this case an Italian - English dictionary. The Hat has mad language skills and thus can made his living teaching Latin. I do not. I love sounds of words, their meanings, and that humans name things. I want to know what words mean. I want to know the names of things and the meanings of the words associated whether it is a flower or an ancient mosaic from a villa out on the via Portuense. It is the silent repetitive flowing through the brain of the sounds that is so sweet.
