Description
I wanted to go to the Whitney Museum of American Art because I was impressed the first time when it was located more midtown. Now it is relocated to the foot of The High Line on the Lower West Side. It is a happy place located out the crush of tourists as it was very much inside previously. I especially like the painting by Charles Demuth named My Egypt, 1927, and an Elsie Driggs's work called Pittsburgh, 1927. We were looking for a way out and came upon this attractive escape route. Unfortunately, it only went down and we wanted to go up.
